Most of my childhood was spent outdoors playing on the family farm. To many people, the fens can be a bleak flat place to be; but I think it’s a stunningly beautiful place. From the bright yellow and green colours of spring which you can see for miles, to the bright blue skies and golden fields of summer.Even in the winter when a blanket of snow has fallen the sight can be awe inspiring. One of the real specialities of the fens is it’s sunsets. With vast skies the sunsets are huge, with bright reds, yellows and oranges filling the space. Nature is a big part of my life. I'm trying to capture the essence of life and growth that is all around me.In a way he is letting nature take its course.For further inquires or commissions From the window of my studio, I’m looking over an old gravel pit, which over the years has turned into a beautiful natural area, where nature has reclaimed something that was just a hole in the ground, but is now a pond with life in it.
